Equipment and setup
Which refrigeration equipment needs repair?
Start with the unit that has stopped holding temperature, producing ice or cooling evenly. If the model label is out of reach, describe the equipment and where it is installed.
Walk-in coolers
For rooms storing chilled ingredients, drinks or prepared stock. Report a rising temperature, dripping near the coil or a door that will not seal.
Walk-in freezers
For rooms storing frozen stock. Report recurring frost, ice at the threshold or a temperature that stays high after defrost.
Commercial refrigerators
For reach-in, undercounter and worktop refrigerators. Tell us which section runs warm and whether the temperature changes during busy periods.
Commercial freezer cabinets
For reach-in, undercounter and worktop freezers. Report recurring frost or changes in temperature across sections or drawers.
Prep tables and display cases
We repair refrigerated prep tables and deli, bakery, floral and glass-door display cases. For a prep table, check whether the issue affects the pan rail, the lower cabinet or both.
Back bar coolers and beer or keg systems
Tell us whether the cooler itself is warm or the problem is limited to the beverage system. Include which cabinet or line is affected if there are several.
Commercial ice machines
For cube, nugget and flake machines. Say whether the cycle stops or output has dropped.
Blast chillers
For equipment used to rapidly chill prepared food. Tell us which program is selected and where the cycle stalls.

What to record when refrigeration stops working
Use normal displays and safe observation. If several units seem affected, list each unit and when its symptoms started.
Unit runs warm
Share the current reading, usual setting and when the change began. Say whether it happens after stocking, during service or overnight.
Ice or water keeps returning
Note where it appears, such as around a door, below a cabinet or inside a walk-in. A photo taken from a safe location can help identify the affected area.
Unusual sound or weak airflow
Describe when you hear it and whether it starts and stops with the equipment cycle. Include any code shown on the controller.
A single compartment is affected
Tell us whether it is the top rail, lower cabinet, a section of the display or the whole unit. If the issue follows a recent service visit, include the date.
How to get service
How to request service
Identify the unit
Share the type, brand and model if available, equipment ZIP and main symptom. For walk-ins, the room and the refrigeration system can have different labels.
Confirm access and availability
Tell us who can meet the technician and whether the condensing equipment is on a roof, behind a counter or in a locked area.
Discuss the repair estimate
The repair estimate depends on the equipment assessment and the work and parts involved. Have the person who can approve the repair available when possible.

Yes. Tell us what the unit holds, which part is running warm and whether it is a standalone cabinet or connected to refrigeration equipment elsewhere in the building.
